Renowned hotel chain, Hyatt Centric, with properties in New York and Hawaii, debuts its first mountain hotel in the French Alps. It’s got ski-in, ski-out access to the brilliant Espace San Bernardo – that spans both France and Italy – and is only minutes from the shops, bars and restaurants of Les Eucherts and little La Rosière. The 69 rustic guestrooms are decked out in sophisticated greys, dark woods and tasteful feature walls, and even feature fancy Nespresso coffee machines. You’re also guaranteed breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, whatever part of the hotel you’re in. Whether you’ve spent all day on the slopes, or simply had a stroll around the shops, you still deserve a little pampering. As well as the Summit Spa, with its three treatment rooms and yoga classes, the Hyatt Centric is home to a tranquil indoor pool, a sauna and steam room and three hot tubs - two inside and one out. The latter is highly recommended during a snow fall or on a bluebird day – which, enjoying the same number of sunshine hours as St Tropez, isn’t a rarity in La Rosière. When it comes to the all-important taste test, Hyatt Centric’s got you sorted. The H40 restaurant is the venue for half-board meals, offering a mountain-style buffet each morning and French brasserie-style food in the evening. What’s more, all of their wines only originate from mountainous regions – think France, Austria, South Africa and New Zealand. Once your tummy is full, head over to the H40 bar for a Belgian beer or to the quaint Surus Bar, which features Chesterfield-style sofas and rums from around the world. Location: A traditional, south-facing resort, La Rosière has a great mix of French and Italian skiing, and is popular with families and first-timers. Divided into two main areas, La Rosière centre and Les Eucherts, they’re connected by a short bus ride and a floodlit, Alpine forest walk. • Ski-in, Ski-out. • Located in Les Eucherts village. • 10 minute walk to the centre of La Rosière. • 1 minute walk to the Eucherts Express chairlift. • 1 minute walk to the ski school meeting point, nursery slopes and ski bus stop.

La Rosiere is a traditional French alpine village, offering fantastic views, great snow conditions and has a wide range of slopes suitable for all levels of skier. The village is on a high plateau at 1850m, making it one of the highest snow-sure ski resorts in France, offering phenomenal views across the valley towards Les Arcs and La Plange.
Thanks to the St Bernard Pass attracting clouds and the majestic Mont Blanc trapping them, this combined with a high altitude, means La Rosiere has one of the best snow records in the French Alps. With its great snow record and South facing slopes, it provides the perfect combination of snow and sun.
It is situated in the heart of the French Alps, on the French-Italian border in the upper Tarantaise and Savoie ski region. The resort is linked to La Thuile in Italy and together form the Espace San Bernardo skiing area offering 150 Km of pistes.
La Rosiere is one of the top family ski resorts, this is because of its excellent range of beginner and intermediate slopes, and the fantastic quality of childcare and ski schools that is it has on offer. The beautiful surroundings make it the perfect place for groups and families alike to have a relaxed and memorable ski holiday.
We offer a wide range of La Rosiere ski holiday packages in catered ski chalets and self catered apartments departing on either Saturday or Sunday from mid-December till the end of April, from most UK regional airports.
The resort is a charming village and is made up of 3 parts La Rosiere, Les Eucherts and le Golet. All three villages are very close to one another and are only a short walk from one another or serviced by a regular free bus service. Both La Rosiere and Les Eucherts have their own shops, restaurants and ski lift stations where we have many ski in ski out chalets close to the slopes.
This ski area offers great all-round slopes and well-groomed pistes with plenty of tree runs, with wide blues and some testing reds. Although not as big as some of the other French ski resorts there is plenty for most skiers during a week's skiing in La Rosiere. The resort is linked to La Thuile in Italy and forms the Espace San Bernardo ski region with 150km, of slopes. There are also some fantastic mountain restaurants scattered across the ski area, ideal for ski groups who like to explore.
There are a total of 32 beginner pistes, which are nice and wide and not to steep making it an ideal resorts for families and first time skiers. Also the two main pistes that access the village are both very gentle; this is where the free nursery slopes are.
La Rosiere has 29 red runs for those skiers who have already mastered the basics and are looking to progress their ability. One of the more interesting red runs is the Fontaine Froide, dropping 750m through the woods to the Ecudets chair, far below the village with a charming mountain café at the bottom.
There are only 13 black runs in this ski area, so not as many as in other resorts however La Rosiere does boast some of the best off-piste in the Alps, and offers off-piste guides and heliskiing. Some of the steepest slopes are on the La Thuile side, but we would recommend the La Rosiere side, down the Marcassin run to Le Vaz and down the Ecudets and Eterlou runs near the village.
This resort is fantastic for snowboarders as many of the blue and red runs are nice and wide and not to steep, great for carving and cruising. There is one good-sized snow park that is well maintained and has some great views ideal for photos.
One of the best features of La Rosiere is that the off piste is phenomenal including a 20 Km off piste route into La Thuile, and is also one of the few French resorts to offer heli-skiing.

Tell us roughly when you want to go and who is coming, and we will price it with the operators for you.
No obligation. One of the team will come back to you the same day where we can.
La Rosiere is not known for it’s lively après ski, however, there are a few bars that get busy near the slopes at the end of the day, such as Moo bar where there is live music, DJs, and a popular happy hour.
In the evening Le Petit Danois, Fusion and Le Pub which are open till about 2 am, are enjoyed by locals an holiday makers alike.
As it is a traditional French village there are many charming restaurants and cafes to choose from after a hard day on the slopes. With special note to Le Genepi, which serves fantastic cuisine, L’Ancolie has many local delicious dishes and Marmottes that is great for families.
When off the slopes there is a variety of activities to take part in such as helicopter tours, health spa, gym, pool, parapenting, snowkiting, go-karting, bowling alley, ice rink, English cinema, husky sledging and over 11Km of paths which are popular for walkers and snowshoeing.
