10 minutes' walk to the nearest slope. Chalet styled hotel with a cosy, rustic feel. Free use of sauna and gym facilities. Discover the Savoyard specialities in the hotel's restaurant. The Accroche Coeur was built by Annie Folliet and family in 2007, but it is a traditional La Rosiere home from home to every guest that walks through its doors. Tradition runs throughout, mountain patterned soft furnishings and a wood-burning stove to mention but two features in the lounge area. It is a hotel that does very much feel like home due to all the trinkets and adornments – not to mention the three dogs that reside here including a beautifully big St Bernard - the village mascot. They are the most well-natured, placid creatures you could hope to meet, and they stay in the communal areas – but if dogs aren’t your thing then this hotel may not be for you. Those of you that enjoy the scent of a pine forest will be in your element here, its hangs in the hallways and every room. The bedrooms are much more peaceful than the more lively communal bar and restaurant area upstairs. They are comfortable, all have full length windows and most have a balcony area. There is also a sauna with fitness space and a massage that can be booked for use, but you might find the best relaxation is staring out at the spectacular south-facing views post-ski, from the restaurant terrace, drink in hand – the Mojito Royal comes recommended. Please note that not all terraces can be accessed due to the heavy snow in resort. Location · In Les Eucherts · 10 minutes' to the nearest piste · 5 minutes' walk from nearest shops and bars

La Rosiere is a traditional French alpine village, offering fantastic views, great snow conditions and has a wide range of slopes suitable for all levels of skier. The village is on a high plateau at 1850m, making it one of the highest snow-sure ski resorts in France, offering phenomenal views across the valley towards Les Arcs and La Plange.
Thanks to the St Bernard Pass attracting clouds and the majestic Mont Blanc trapping them, this combined with a high altitude, means La Rosiere has one of the best snow records in the French Alps. With its great snow record and South facing slopes, it provides the perfect combination of snow and sun.
It is situated in the heart of the French Alps, on the French-Italian border in the upper Tarantaise and Savoie ski region. The resort is linked to La Thuile in Italy and together form the Espace San Bernardo skiing area offering 150 Km of pistes.
La Rosiere is one of the top family ski resorts, this is because of its excellent range of beginner and intermediate slopes, and the fantastic quality of childcare and ski schools that is it has on offer. The beautiful surroundings make it the perfect place for groups and families alike to have a relaxed and memorable ski holiday.
We offer a wide range of La Rosiere ski holiday packages in catered ski chalets and self catered apartments departing on either Saturday or Sunday from mid-December till the end of April, from most UK regional airports.
The resort is a charming village and is made up of 3 parts La Rosiere, Les Eucherts and le Golet. All three villages are very close to one another and are only a short walk from one another or serviced by a regular free bus service. Both La Rosiere and Les Eucherts have their own shops, restaurants and ski lift stations where we have many ski in ski out chalets close to the slopes.
This ski area offers great all-round slopes and well-groomed pistes with plenty of tree runs, with wide blues and some testing reds. Although not as big as some of the other French ski resorts there is plenty for most skiers during a week's skiing in La Rosiere. The resort is linked to La Thuile in Italy and forms the Espace San Bernardo ski region with 150km, of slopes. There are also some fantastic mountain restaurants scattered across the ski area, ideal for ski groups who like to explore.
There are a total of 32 beginner pistes, which are nice and wide and not to steep making it an ideal resorts for families and first time skiers. Also the two main pistes that access the village are both very gentle; this is where the free nursery slopes are.
La Rosiere has 29 red runs for those skiers who have already mastered the basics and are looking to progress their ability. One of the more interesting red runs is the Fontaine Froide, dropping 750m through the woods to the Ecudets chair, far below the village with a charming mountain café at the bottom.
There are only 13 black runs in this ski area, so not as many as in other resorts however La Rosiere does boast some of the best off-piste in the Alps, and offers off-piste guides and heliskiing. Some of the steepest slopes are on the La Thuile side, but we would recommend the La Rosiere side, down the Marcassin run to Le Vaz and down the Ecudets and Eterlou runs near the village.
This resort is fantastic for snowboarders as many of the blue and red runs are nice and wide and not to steep, great for carving and cruising. There is one good-sized snow park that is well maintained and has some great views ideal for photos.
One of the best features of La Rosiere is that the off piste is phenomenal including a 20 Km off piste route into La Thuile, and is also one of the few French resorts to offer heli-skiing.

La Rosiere is not known for it’s lively après ski, however, there are a few bars that get busy near the slopes at the end of the day, such as Moo bar where there is live music, DJs, and a popular happy hour.
In the evening Le Petit Danois, Fusion and Le Pub which are open till about 2 am, are enjoyed by locals an holiday makers alike.
As it is a traditional French village there are many charming restaurants and cafes to choose from after a hard day on the slopes. With special note to Le Genepi, which serves fantastic cuisine, L’Ancolie has many local delicious dishes and Marmottes that is great for families.
When off the slopes there is a variety of activities to take part in such as helicopter tours, health spa, gym, pool, parapenting, snowkiting, go-karting, bowling alley, ice rink, English cinema, husky sledging and over 11Km of paths which are popular for walkers and snowshoeing.
