• It’s all inclusive, so tuck in and keep the refreshments coming. • Check out the valley view from the outdoor pool. • Step out onto your own private balcony with a superior room. Skiing the Evasion Mont Blanc area will mean starting your days off with a ride on the St Gervais Bettex gondola. The good news is that it doesn’t take long to get there from SOWELL HÔTELS Mont Blanc & SPA – it’s about a 10-minute mosey downhill, so you’ll get a good little warm up before popping your skis on each morning. Walking into the centre of St Gervais takes a little longer, but with all inclusive, everything you need is right here. Of course, this means refreshments are always at hand and you can keep going back for more – no need to um and err over whether to have that extra drink. The same goes for mealtimes. Breakfast and dinner are an all-you-can-eat buffet affair, with the morning spread staying open until 1pm – so feel free to head on back for round two and pile on some more pancakes. With such a big ski area to explore, you’ll want some quality R&R when you’re back. The sauna and hot tub are a top pick, if you don’t mind paying extra, and the valley view from the outdoor pool makes a visit well worth it. However you choose to chill though, wrapping things up with bottomless refreshments on the terrace is a grand way to end the day.

Megeve is a hidden gem situated next to Mont Blanc with a massive 445km of slopes. Megeve is a traditional Savoyard village with real charm, with its medieval church and cobbled streets; it really is a great and unique winter holiday destination full of chic shops and elegant hotels.
The 445km ski area is divided up into 3 main areas Mont d’Arbois, Rochbrune, and Le Jaillet, which are great for all levels. If this is not enough for you the legendary resort of Chamonix is just around the corner and is covered under the Mont Blanc pass. The ski area boasts a fantastic snow record thanks to a “micro-climate” created from a combination of its proximately to Mont Blanc and high altitude. Whatever type of ski holiday you want, we have a large choice of winter Megève ski holiday packages to choose from where you can fly from your local regional airport.
The Rothschild family built the Megève ski resort in the 1910 after falling in love with the Swiss Resort St Mortiz. By the 1960s it was one of the most popular ski resorts in the world, very popular with celebrities and French Aristocracy. It still remains one if the most exclusive and famous ski resorts in the world. It is a great choice for a family ski holiday due to its wide range of slopes and short transfer.
Megève is a well-kept secret with is 445km of slopes in the shadows of Mont Blanc there really is something for everyone. There are 3 ski areas are Mont d’Arbois, Rochbrune and Le Jaillet. Rochbrune is exclusive to Megeve and the largest area is Mont d’Arbois, these 2 areas are connected by cable car. The 3 areas including Le Jaillet are known as the Evasion Mont Blanc, however, it is possible to ski in Chamonix and surrounding ski resorts if you buy the Mont Blanc pass.
The ski trails in Megeve are mainly through the thick tree-lined slopes providing great scenery and gives clear definition if the weather is bad. Most of the beginner and learner slopes are close to the village.
The best intermediate slopes are at Mont d’Arbois, here the pistes are nice and wide and are the most snow-sure in all of the resort, with some picturesque views. There are also many red routes to Le Bettex, which is above St Gervais.
In the Megeve area, there are a few challenging routes. However, if you really want to test yourself then Chamonix (just around the corner) is a skiing mecca & has some of the finest expert skiing in the world. There are a few steep black runs and great off-piste runs from Mont Joly and Mont Joux. The Rochebrune has some great long wooded runs and the La Petit Fontaine has great access to the Cote 2000 where the world cup races take place.
There are 2 snowparks and one has a half pipe that is located on the Mont d’Arbois and Rochebrune. There is also a new boardercross.
