Arinsal is an idyllic village situated at 1550m in the middle of the Pyrenees close to the French border, and with skiing over 2500m snow is ensured throughout the season. Arinsal ski holidays have long been a family favorite thanks to its great skiing and value for money.
There have been 2 major developments in recent years, firstly the linking of Arinsal resort to pal in 2004 via a 50-person cable car with 63kms of slopes. Arinsal, pal, and Arcalis resorts combined forms the Vallnord ski area that has a respectable 93km of pistes, however, the 30km of runs in Arcalis has to be reached by bus. The Vallnord ski area is the perfect ski holiday for beginners and intermediate skiers. Secondly, there has been a major development of modern hotels in the resort, where we have many Arinsal ski holiday packages on offer where it is possible to fly from your local airport.
In Arinsal the first lifts were installed in 1973 by Josep Sera, and since then it has developed into a great holiday resort.
We have a decent selection of Arinsal Hotels and apartments on offer. Please call our experts and see if we can find you a spectacular holiday in Arinsal.
Arinsal is set high in the middle of the Pyrenees standing at 1550m and skiing above 2500m snow is guaranteed! The Vallnord ski area links 63km of Arinsal and Pal, however, the 30kms of Arcalis can be reached by bus.
The best beginner area is the Prat de la Coma in Arinsal. Just off to the right of the mid station there are 3 learner draglifts and a large beginner area.
Once the learner slopes have been mastered head over to Pal where there are some excellent lone blue runs. Arinsal is also home to one of the longest runs in Andorra known as La Solana that starts at the top of Pic Negre and runs all the way to Cota, which is at the base of the mountain.
For Advance skiers there are three black runs at the top of the mountain. One of these black pistes is called La Devesa, which is the longest and steepest run in Andorra.
Arinsal has over 12 bars on in resort all with their own special charm. One of the most popular après ski bars is Cisco’s. This is a Mexican cave themed bar serving cheap drinks and nachos; it also shows many sporting events.
El Cau is a bar / nightclub that is perfect for night owls as it open till 2.30 am and plays the latest dance and pop tunes, perfect to let your hair down on their dance floor. They have many drink offers from 15.00 – 20.00 every day.
