Levi is thought of by many as being the top ski resort in Lapland offering the largest amount of downhill and cross country skiing that you can find in Finland and it has a modern and well developed infrastructure to boot. Over the last decade Levi has developed dramatically with fantastic restaurants and bars in which to wine and dine whilst the facilities and infrastructure are now on par with many of the major resorts in the Alps. Yet unlike many of the Alpine ski resorts it is also only 20 minutes from Kittila airport!. However, the development has been done very tastefully allowing Levi to retain its magical feel and exceptional natural beauty.

There is so much to do in Levi other than just ski! There is an abundance of non ski activties that you can get your teeth into from adrenaline fuels snow mobile escapes and ice karting on frozen lakes to a romantik night staying in a thermal glass igloo cuddled up under the stars with the chance to catch a glimps of the legendary Aurora Borealis or the "Northern Lights" as it is more commonly known.
Or why not been an unforgettable evening out to visit the famous Lainio Snow Hotel or visit the luxurious Levi Spa Hotel with its 17 indoor and outdoor pool as well as 9 saunas, along with steam rooms and whirlpools and a drink in 1 of the 3 bars on offer followed by a bite to eat in the restaurant where they regularly have live music most evenings.
And let's not forget the all important visit to meet Father Christmas! When staying between the start of Dec and the beginning of Jan the kids will love a visit to SantaPark where you can spend all day in this indoor grotto theme park. You can meet Santa himself and attend Elf School where you can earn an Elf Diploma and gain your Elf trainee hat. Mrs Santa also offer lessons in gingerbread making at her bakery and Santa's Post Office is always popular as is the Magic Train, dance show, the Arctic Circle Arch and the meeting with Ice Princess. Whilst the Ice Gallery and Bar might be more popular with the parents. Alternatively Santa's Elves' Hideaway can be booked or just 2 hours rather than being a full day away. Here the children can also meet Father Christmas and Comet the reindeer whilst also attending Elf School and gingerbread making classes. They also have tobogganing and a snowmobile train.
