If you’re looking for an authentic mountain stay, then the Christine will be right up your piste. It’s been run by the same family for generations, and from check-in to mealtimes, the service is second to none. Looks-wise, it’s classic alpine, with its timber cladding and shuttered windows. You’re in Campitello, one of the main towns that makes up Val di Fassa, which means you’ve got plenty of bars and shops on hand. And there’s a ski bus stop a matter of metres away, so getting around the rest of the resort is nice and simple too – just grab a ticket from the hotel reception. Once you’re done skiing for the day, you can give your legs some well-earned downtime in the hotel’s sauna. Afterwards, set yourself up for dinner in true Italian style with an aperitivo and some nibbles in the bar. And then it's on to dinner, which is all about simple, tasty dishes that’ll leave you feeling full – think stews with polenta and creamy risottos.

A ski holiday in Campitello gives you a lovely quiet and quaint Italian ski resort in one of the most beautiful ski areas in the world. Campitello is located within the Dolomiti Superski (1200km of piste) with its stunning rock formations and amazing scenery, and to top it off you can also link into the Sella Ronda ski circuit with ease via skiing over to Selva by skiing over to Arabba from the neighboring resort of Canazei. The valley in which Campitello is located is called Val di Fassa (170km of piste) and you will sometimes see Campitello ski holidays listed as ski holidays in Val di Fassa instead. The local skiing within the Val di Fassa is great for intermediates and beginners but advanced skiers will want to explore the whole area.
One of the smallest of all of the resorts within Val di Fassa, Campitello is ideal for those who enjoy a laid back pace of life and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life during the course of their ski holidays. It is a picturesque, classically Italian ski village with small narrow streets and traditional alpine architecture. You wont find much late-night nightlife in Campitello but you will find some amazing dining experiences in the local restaurants. If you are looking for a nice relaxing ski holiday but with access to the worlds biggest ski area then a ski holiday in Campitello could be just what you are looking for.

Absolute beginners will start off on the easy access nursery slope, so there is no need to take the big scary cable car to the higher slopes on your first day, but then once you have learnt the ropes you will head higher up to experience the slightly more challenging pistes and take in the breath taking views of the valley.
Intermediate skiers on a ski holiday in Campitello will love all of the local pistes that are on offer given the good mix of red and blue runs that are to be found. Being bale to ski over to Canazei is a nice treat as well and if you are happy to get a bus to the other resorts in the valley then there is a whole host of skiing available on the local area lift pass. However, those who are happy to pay the extra for the full area pass will no doubt want to trying out the skiing on the Sella Ronda Ski Circuit.

There is not much of an apres-ski scene in Campitello. If you want to stay in Val di Fassa and you are after apres-ski then Canazei is the place to stay. However, the fact that Campitello is just a short bus ride away from Canazei make it a good place to base yourself if you are after a laid back ski holiday but also want the option to stop for a few apres-ski drinks after a hard day on the slopes, should you feel the desire to do so. You can either ski back to Canazei and then get the bus back to Campitello or you can ski down to Canazei with plenty of time before last lifts and then ski back over to Campitello before the lifts close.
If you are not that fussed about the bars on offer in Canazei then there are a handful local bars to check out in Campitello as well as a number of top class restaurants. A lot of the hotels in the resort have their own bars as well.
