Soldeu is a high altitude ski resort standing at a whopping 1800m in the middle of the Pyrenees, close to the French boarder. It is a popular ski holiday resort for British tourists and is famous for, its friendly atmosphere and great après ski. It has long been an attractive ski destination for groups and families and can offer exceptional value holidays with a great snow record.
Soldeu and the village of El Tarter were linked in the 1981-82 season, and in the 2003-04 season, it was linked with Pas de la Casa, Canillo and the Grau Roig. The linking of these resorts creates the massive Grandvalira ski area, with 205km of slopes that are perfectly suited for intermediates. The Grau Roig known by the locals, as “Grau” is an amazing uninhabited area between Soldeu and Pas de la Casa, that has some fantastic views and runs down to Lake Pessons. We have some great value Soldeu ski holiday packages to choose from, where it is possible to fly from your local airport.
