Chill by name, chill by nature, this a great little spot for your stay in Risoul. You’re pretty much in the heart of the action here – with many independent shops, bars and places to eat a short stroll away. Best of all, the resort’s large ski station is just round the bend. Inside, you have an inviting lounge area – with its warm tones and log store-styled bar – the hotel’s restaurant, fitness room and wellness area. There’s certainly some quirks too, from the aircraft propeller and bull horn on the wall to the lounge chairs with riveted metal bodies. Not to forget the flotation tank of course – it costs a little extra to use, but it’s a must-try. Rooms can take families of up to 6, with bunk beds for littl’uns, as well as some triple rooms if it’s just one, two or three of you heading Risoul’s way. Standard board here is bed & breakfast, and the buffet spread in the mornings has bacon and sausages on the menu as well as classic Continental options. And if you like to keep things simple and have your evening meals here too, a half board upgrade is available – easy.
