Set in the heart of the scenic and un-spoilt Haute Maurienne Valley, that borders the stunning Parc National de la Vanoise, Val Cenis offers ski holidays in spectacular scenery. Val Cenis consists of two traditional villages Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard that have been combined into one resort. Visitors to Val Cenis will experience its charm & tradition and are guaranteed to receive a warm welcome from the locals with an authentic alpine feel.
Val Cenis ski holidays offer access to 125km of slopes serviced by 27 lifts, and with slopes above 2500m meaning, snow is ensured throughout the winter season. Most of the slopes are north-facing and Val Cenis has slopes above and below the tree line. The skiing here is best suited to families rather than for those who like clocking up the miles.

There are 125km of slopes serviced by 27 ski lifts. Most of the slopes are north-facing there are slopes above 2500m, so snow is guaranteed throughout the winter season.
Val Cenis is made up of two villages and both of these charming villages have excellent nursery slopes, however, the best learner slopes are in the village of Lanslevillard. Higher up the mountain, there are also some tree-lined green runs, the most popular of these is the one starting at the Col du Mont-Cenis.
Val Cenis is perfectly suited for intermediate skiers, thanks to its mixture of different terrains. The lower half of the ski area has mainly green and blue tree-lined runs, whilist in the top half of the ski area, the terrain is more challenging with a good number of reds.
Val Cenis has an excellent reputation for its snow reliability, this is because most of the slopes are north facing. There are a few good challenging black and red routes around the ski area. Our favorite run for expert skiers was the 400m descents form the top of the Michel Jacot piste.
