There are many reasons why the Hotel Jägerwirt is so popular - but one that really stands out is the service. From the moment you arrive, the friendly team will be waiting to welcome you with a smile. The hotel is beautifully traditional with Tyrolean hunting lodge-style decor running throughout. Kids and adults alike can go for a splash or get in a few early evening laps in the indoor pool, and there's a separate wellness suite with Finnish sauna and steam room to help revitalise the body. The local ski bus stops right outside the Jägerwirt, although it’s only about a 10-minute walk to the Hahnenkamm gondola, which will whisk you up into the Kitzbühel ski area. It’s also about 5 minutes to the resort centre, where you’ll find a great selection of boutique shops and popular bars for a spot of designer shopping, après ski or dancing until the early hours. If you don’t want to venture too far in the evening, the hotel boasts an in-house sports bars – showing all the top football matches on Sky Sports and serving the most delicious burgers. Alternatively, the more sedate hotel bar has a comfy lounge area where you can relax and chat about your day’s adventures. The food in the Jägerwirt is a delicious mix of Tyrolean specialities and dishes from further afield - and there's a great wine menu to complement your meals. Breakfasts are a hearty affair too - with a wide selection of cereals, fruit, breads, cold meats and cheeses, along with hot bacon and eggs to warm you up before a day out on the mountain.
