Zurs is part of the massive Arlberg Ski Area, with 276km of slopes, as well as pistes over 2500m, so snow is guaranteed throughout the winter season. Zurs village is at 1700m and is linked to the world famous resorts of St Anton and Lech and is described by locals as a “diamond in the snow”.

Beginner skiing in Zurs

There are gentle nursery slopes beside the village, which are perfectly placed by all our hotels. The ski school in Zurs is widely considered to be one of the best in the world, and it is possible to book both private and group lessons. 

Intermediate skiing in Zurs

Zurs is famous for its empty slopes; idyllic wide-open blue and red runs, and good intermediates will enjoy the “White Ring Circuit” that connects the villages around Zurs. There is also the new Jet lift connecting Warth to Zurs, adding a further 17km of red pistes.

Advanced skiing in Zurs

Zurs is home to the best and most challenging off-piste routes in Austria and is an alpine powder skiing mecca for any serious skier, as well as offering some world-class black runs.

Snowboarding in Zurs

The slopes in Zurs are wide open and perfectly suited for snowboarders. There is also a funpark in Lech under the Schlosskopf chairlift, and the Salober snowpark in Warth.
