We offer in all catered chalets the possibility to get professional daycare. Wens Chalets has several experienced babysitters stationed in the Alps. When you book daycare with us the babysitter will take care of your kids in your own chalet. She'll play games with them and make sure the kids have just as much fun as their parents

When you rent a chalet privately, a Deluxe Package can be booked for the entire group at Euro 35,- per person per week. This includes the following:
Culinary program, with 6x a culinary surprise (including a luxury snack platter, a Alpen Dinner instead of a 3-course dinner, a winter drink and 1x prosecco breakfast).
(Only bookable for the entire group in a private chalet, with the exception of children under 13 years)
Afternoon Tea
When you rent a chalet privately, it is possible to book an Afternoon tea for the entire group for Euro 25,- per person per week. The sweets that can be served during this Afternoon tea can include:
Scones;
Victoria sponge;
Various cakes;
Biscuits;
Local delicacies.
The Afternoon tea is served from 4:00 PM.

Beverage package XL
It is also possible to book a Beverage Package XL if you rent a chalet privately. The price for this is Euro 35,- per person per week. This includes;

Both these villages form part of the massive Ski Circus ski area, and if you’re a confident intermediate you will achieve a massive buzz from skiing the whole area which covers 4 resorts (Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang, Feiberbrunn). As of Dec 2015, the area has offered 270km of piste thanks to a €20 million investment in a new lift to link Hinterglemm to Fieberbrunn. From Dec 2019/2020 the link over to Zell am See opens up even more skiing. Skiing in Saalbach is fantastic offering a wide variety of slopes with great skiing for all levels and is widely considered one of the best Austrian ski resorts. With 270km of well-groomed pistes and 55 ski lifts skiing in Saalbach is part of the Ski Circus there really is something for everyone. More adventures skiers will love that there is now even more skiing that can be accessed now that Saalbach has been linked up with Zell am See. If you purchase the Alpin Card Lift Pass there is a total of 408km of piste on offer!
Saalbach Skiing is found on both sides of the valley, the runs on the north side (south-facing) is often preferred for beginner and intermediates as these are the slopes that get the most amount of sunshine. Slopes on the south side (north-facing) are normally in the side and hold the snow better in the late season.
The nursery slopes are located right in the center of the village and the ski schools have a fantastic reputation.
Saalbach and Hinterglemm are perfectly suited for intermediate skiers alike. There are an extensive number of blue and red slopes over a variety of different terrains, easily accessible from both village centers. Intermediates will be particularly interested in the Kohlmais, Bernkogel and Reiterkogel areas.
For Expert skiers the runs that drop off from the Schattberg cable car offer some great mogul and off-piste routes. Other areas that will excite advanced skiers are the Nordabfahrt and the world-famous piste in Hinterglemm the Zwolferkogel, that appears in the skiing world cup circuit.
Saalbach is widely considered to be one of the best resorts in Austria for snowboarding, with its wide well maintained blue and red runs. There are also two snow parks, one smaller one in Hinterglemm but more experienced freestylers prefer the snowpark in the adjacent valley in Leogang. This snowpark boasts some large kickers, rails, and jibs to play on.

Saalbach has been votes by some travel guide books in having the best après ski in the Alps. With over 30 bars and pubs to choose from and 9 discos and clubs, there really is something for everyone. Après ski in Saalbach usually kicks off around 3 in the afternoon and carries on until the early hours of the morning, with most bars offering live bands or DJs, with and unrivaledatmosphere. Don’t be surprised to see people still wearing their ski boots, well after dark.
The most popular après bars in Saalbach are the Hinterhag Alm and the Goasstall.
