Chalet Fabriel is a beautiful, luxury chalet in the heart of the village, just 280m from the slopes. The chalet comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms, each with en-suite, TV, dressing room and a south-facing terrace. On the top floor, you’ll find the large open-plan living space with 180 degree south-facing views of the ski area and a large terrace, perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. It also benefits from an internal lift, making this chalet ideal for all generations to come together. The chalet has been thoughtfully redesigned in 2023, offering luxurious accommodation with each fine detail finished to a high standard. Including an environmental focus on keeping the carbon footprint from the build to a minimum. This includes a pellet-fired boiler, wood burning stove, reinforced insulation, LED lighting and sensors in the corridors. *A security deposit of €8000 is required for bookings at this property. This is refundable after departure providing the chalet has been left in an adequate state (bins emptied, washing up done and left in a clean and tidy state with no breakages).*

Then why not give our Meal on the Mountain a go with a skidoo ride to your restaurant!
We'll collect you from your chalet or apartment, drive you down to Clavière where you’ll be met by a skidoo and transported up to a local mountain restaurant. Feast on a 5-course meal including apéritifs, anti-pasti, charcuterie, various pasta dishes and Italian dolce (desserts) followed by coffee and a cheeky digestif.
Dietary requirements including gluten-free? No problemo! Just ensure you notify us at the point of booking. We prioritise earlier sittings for families with younger children. Price includes your food, wine and transport.

For those looking to enjoy some time off from the kitchen this holiday, look no further! Our evening package is brought to you by a professional, local chef and can be booked up to 6 evenings* (minimum 3 nights). Not only do they offer full 2 and 3 course meals to include a delicious entrée, main and dessert, full waiter service is included too - with set-up and clean up after to make life simpler for you!
Our menus include traditional French cuisine plus a number of favourites from other regions of the world. With alternative options available for those with special dietary requirements upon request.
The children’s meals include simplified lasagnes, chicken goujons, and home-made burgers. Always fresh and very tasty! Children’s dinners include a main course and dessert and are served before the adults. (Please note - the ages below are merely a guideline based on portion sizes. So if you have children with slightly larger appetites, you may want to consider an upgrade on their meal to avoid rumbly tummies!)

Montgenèvre is a charming alpine village situated at 1860m on the French Italian border that is linked to the “Via Lattea” known to us Brits as the Milky Way ski area. The Milky Way has 400kms of slopes and a ski holiday here provides fantastic access to great Italian resorts such as Claviere, Sauze d’Oulx, and Sestriere.
Montgenèvre is the only French ski resort that is in the Milky Way, and the surrounding ski area is perfectly suited for beginners and intermediates. For the more adventurous there is easy access into the Milky Way where there is plenty of challenging pistes and the 2006 Winter Olympics where held. Whatever type of ski holiday you want, we have a wide choice of winter Montgenèvre ski holiday packages to choose from where you can fly from your local regional airport.
The resort is a small but attractive village, built-in 1907 and is one of the first-ever French ski resorts. Although not as lively as some of the other French and Italian resorts there is still plenty to do. Also with 4 major airports close by the Montgenevre benefits from a short transfer and really is a great choice for families.
Montgenèvre is a high resort on the French side of the Milky Way circuit with 400km of slopes there really is something for everyone from beginners through to advanced. Compared to most of the other large ski areas in France there are hardly any lift queues in Montgenevre even during the half term dates! The highest lift is at 2800m and with many of the slopes above 2000m so it is snow sure.
There are plenty of beginner slopes on the Montgenèvre side of the Milky Way and nursery slopes in the village, that are nice and wide and covered in sunshine, are perfect for children and to learn on.
The area is great for intermediates with endless trails above the treeline, with plenty of routes diving down through the trees. Popular choices include the wide runs down from Les Anges and Le Chavlet a long red that goes across the valley. The Milky Way has such a large variety of slopes Montgenevre really is a resort for skiers and boarders that like to explore rather than doing the same slopes over and over again.
Montgenèvre has 9 black runs in its area, however, there are many more in the rest of the Milky Way, including the Col de l’Alpet is a popular black that is close to Claviere.
There is some challenging off-piste routes here, however, a guide is often recommended. Also, heli-skiing is available close by where there are 2 drop-offs on Italian peaks that are over 3000m.
Holidays here are a great choice for borders, as there is a snow park that is fenced off from the rest of the slopes to enable a premium area to show off tricks.
